With wordbird | SCHOOL, we bring the expertise of our experienced language trainers directly to the students – whether in an online setting or in a combination with on-site appointments. Our offering goes far beyond ordinary tutoring: We rely on professionals who normally train executives, but who bring a special passion and specialisation for working with young people.
What we offer: Motivation in a small group
Learning in a small group is not only more fun, but also provides lasting motivation. Interacting with peers takes the pressure off, promotes mutual understanding and shows students that they are not alone with their challenges. To ensure that learning remains effective, we group together students who are in the same school year and have been learning the language for the same amount of time. They do not have to be from the same class, but their prior knowledge must match (for example, we do not mix short-term and long-term language learners).

Flexible formats
We adapt to everyday school life. Choose the format that best suits you:
- Hybrid model: An initial personal on-site appointment to get to know each other and analyse needs, all further units take place conveniently online in the Digital Classroom.
- Purely online: Full flexibility with no travel times in our interactive Digital Classroom. Every student participates comfortably from their usual learning environment.
- Purely on-site: Upon request, our trainers will also come directly to you (plus a flat-rate travel fee and the provision of a learning space at a student’s home).

Our pricing model is fair and transparent. Group learning makes professional coaching affordable for everyone.

Individual private lessons for students are available at any time on request and are calculated individually.
Use case
Four Year 11 (Oberstufe) students want to improve their French grades. They have been using a language learning app for vocabulary for some time, but notice that they reach their limits when it comes to free speaking and text analysis.
They book a joint block of lessons with wordbird | SCHOOL. The trainers focus specifically on the texts currently being covered in class and use simulations to take the fear out of the oral exam. They simply divide the costs by four.

Do we have to put the group together ourselves?
Yes, it is most effective if 3 to 6 students from the same class or school year group together. This allows us to guarantee that exactly the relevant material is taught. If you absolutely cannot get a group together, send us your enquiry anyway. We will gladly put you on the waiting list.
